I took the photo on October 4, 2009 on the way to Expo'70 Memorial Park. I know this kind of butterfly stays on a flower long time. I approached the butterfly very carefully and took the photo with my Ricoh GRD2 with macro mode. Other shots are as follows:

I tried cropping my photo in accordance with ROT. Cropped one becomes more attractive compared with original one, I feel.

Cicada (Meimuna opalifera)

Cicada is one of the noisiest insects. Their noisy chirp sounds in the morning interrupt our sleep during the summer season, eeeee. Meimuna opalifera has somewhat strange and interesting chirp sounds. I found he was chirping on a cherry tree.

I invited my son to look for dragonflies and damselflies when we were in my parents' house yesterday. We went to the small park. I had my DSLR in my hands with my new lens, TAMRON SP AF90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1 (Model 272E). The new lens, 272E, showed great results to me, wow! I got photos what I was not able to get with other lenses I have now.

Taking shelter from rain

After rain, I went out to a small park with my son. He found a butterfly taking shelter from rain.
