Many Japanese enjoy Halloween recently, however, most of them just enjoy costume play on the day. There is no religious meaning for most of Japanese.
I've had sore muscles because I enjoyed badminton in the afternoon of last Sunday. I belong to a badminton team which members consist of PTA. Every Sunday we practice and play some game but I had stopped playing badminton because I hurt my elbow. Now my elbow seems to be OK...
In the morning of last Sunday, I went to Expo'70 Memorial Park in order to take some photos for the photo quest. I know it's the best season for COSMOS.
Anyway, I took photos of cosmos in the morning, played badminton in the afternoon and had two drinking parties at night of the Sunday. I had a very sleepy day on Monday :D
OK...my entry for "Out of Focus" is as follows:
Though it was too late for the photo quest #75, I'll post more fall photos taken on today. One of my friends invited me for harvest of sweet potato today. I, my partner and my son visited her field for that. Cutting vines and digging the field were so heavy works for my overweight body, however, our family enjoyed much pleasure of harvest. Thanks our friend! All the photos are taken with my Ricoh GR Digital2.
Fall in Japan is a season for athletic festivals. I selected my photos taken on Oct. 11 because it's a little earlier for autumn leaves. We may have it in November this year. Anyway, taking dynamic photos of people's activities becomes good lesson :)
I almost forgot to entry my try to this week's photo quest. Actually it isn't my life but all the photos were taken on September 27, 2009 when I visited my parents' house in Nara pref. with my family. You can see some flowers in my photo that my mom grew in her garden.
My mom is a master of the Japanese tea ceremony and my daughter is her student. My mom taught my daughter how to serve Matcha in simple process to guests as a host this time. I will ask my daughter to serve me good Matcha this weekend :)

What a week! One of my best friends, who was a Japanese and worked in Kunming China, suddenly passed away in the city. It was on September 24, 2009. We promised to have a small party on October 2, 2009 because he was scheduled to be back to Japan on the first day of October. His body was back to Japan on October 1 and we met each other on October 2 at his funeral. He was forty-four years old. May his soul rest in peace.
It was five days continuous holiday for most of Japanese this year. I went to my partner's parents' house with my family and we got back home two hours ago. It was eleven hours drive for return trip of today. Anyway, I've just got three B&W photos generated with iPhoto'09.
